Move a client between the studio and the live stream
On streamed classes, choose In studio or Streaming when you add a client, and switch a booked client between the two from the class roster — with the pass effect and any late-cancellation rule shown before you confirm.
# Move a client between the studio and the live stream For classes you stream, the class roster now lets you choose how a client attends. - **Add client.** When the class is streamed you pick **In studio** or **Streaming** (In studio is selected first). Classes you don't stream work exactly as before. - **Switch a booked client.** A client booked in the studio gets **Switch to streaming**, and a streaming client gets **Move to studio**. Before anything happens, the confirmation tells you exactly what the switch does to the client's pass, for example: - "1 class will be returned to Flexible Membership (4 left → 5)" when streaming is included in their pass; - "1 class will be used from Flexible Membership (3 left → 2)" when a studio visit uses a class (if they have none left, the switch is refused and nothing changes); - inside your cancellation window, their studio place counts as a late cancellation, exactly as if they had cancelled late: your late-cancellation rule applies (the class is kept and/or the late fee is charged). The studio booking is recorded as a late cancellation and a new streaming booking is made, which costs what streaming normally costs on their pass — free where streaming is included, one class where it costs a class (so a class card whose late rule keeps the class uses two classes, and a client without one left can't be switched). Staff who can waive late-cancellation fees can tick **Waive the late-cancellation rule** instead. Applying or waiving the late rule needs someone who manages bookings; instructors switching their own class are asked to hand it over. You also choose whether to tell the client, by email, SMS and/or push — the same picker as removing a client, starting at "don't notify". The message comes from the brand they booked with and, for streaming, tells them how to join. If the class has already started, a client you switch to (or add for) streaming can open the live stream straight away. Before the class starts, their streaming place is held. A streaming client who missed the start gets **Let in to live stream** on their row. Moving someone into the studio after your late-arrival cutoff needs the same permission and confirmation as adding a client late. The spot moves with the client, so the studio and stream counts stay right, and full classes or streams are respected. A spot that frees up before the class starts is offered to your waitlist; once the class has started nobody is moved in automatically.
Clients can switch their studio booking to the live stream
A client booked in the studio who tries to book or join your live stream online is offered to switch their booking to online — with the effect on their pass, and any late-cancellation fee, shown before they confirm.
